Vizoo’s CAST Receives
Texprocess Innovation Award 2026

Rethinking Fabric Communication

CAST enables the real-time, digital communication of fabrics between teams around the world. Consequently, a fabric mill in Asia can present materials interactively to a brand team in Europe, allowing decisions to be made without the need to ship physical samples. By simply placing a fabric on a scan surface, it gets streamed via an APP in high-quality on the viewers screen and allows instant visualization – and even AI enhanced output – on a product; making it easier to understand how it will look and behave in a final design.

Reducing Sampling, Time, and Emissions

Fabric sales and product sampling is one of the most wasteful, time- and resource-intensive steps in the fashion industry. Fabric mills report challenges that Designers struggle to imagine fabrics on a final product, excessive sample orders go unused, shipping costs and time escalates, and online meetings often fail to convey fabric qualities.

CAST enables designers and brands to evaluate fabric collections remotely and collaborate much more efficiently. By shifting the early stages of material selection into the digital space, our customers can reduce the shipment of physical swatches by up to 80 percent—making the process much more sustainable and cost-efficient.

Bringing Simplicity to Advanced Technology

What makes CAST unique is its ability to combine digital fabric communication, interactive & real-time product visualization, and ease of use in a single application. While many existing tools in the 3D and design space are complex and require specialized knowledge, CAST is designed to be intuitive and accessible, enabling a wider range of users to work with digital materials effortlessly.

CAST does not aim to replace physical fabrics entirely but rather merges the advantages of the physical and digital world. The tactile experience remains essential in many stages and, by enabling faster decisions earlier—focuses everyone on the value added steps in the process.

With CAST, Vizoo demonstrates how combining material expertise with digital workflows can make product development faster, more sustainable —without adding complexity.

A Clear Message to the Industry

By digitizing the fabric selection process in a playful, efficient, and sustainable way, Vizoo GmbH offers more than a product—they offer a meaningful step toward a more responsible and innovative textile industry.
